NPCA's Endorsement of Obama

As NPCT has no federal PAC, our state affiliate can only participate in statewide campaigns, not national ones such as presidential or congressional races. NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC is the only entity authorized to make federal endorsements. There is no consultation role for NPCT or other state affiliates in this process. NPCT Releases New Report

In 2005, $5 million was cut from preventive health centers and shifted into unlicensed, unregulated crisis pregnancy centers. Now, several years later, this program has proved to be a controversial, failed experiment with a multi-million dollar cost to Texas taxpayers.
